IHG® Announces a New Holiday Inn® Hotel has Opened in London, Ontario
Guest rooms and public spaces renovated in $5 million investment
LONDON, ONTARIO, 22 December, 2014 – InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) today announced the opening of the new 143-room Holiday Inn® Hotel & Suites London following a $5 million renovation by its ownership. With the opening of this property there are now 59 Holiday Inn hotels in Canada with an additional seven in the pipeline. The ten-floor hotel is located just off Highway-401, near the Western Fair District, which hosts a variety of amenities including music venues, multiple restaurants, casino gaming, shopping and a sports centre. Golf enthusiasts can also enjoy the hotel’s close proximity to some of the area’s top golf courses such as Forest City National Golf Club, Sunningdale Golf & Country Club and Redtail Golf Club, which hosted Queen Elizabeth II during a recent visit to Canada.
